Here I am again, Day 1.
Due to the fact that I am going home at the end of this month, I decided that I'm gonna try to lose that last little bit of fat on my body (to be honest, it's not quite so little anymore, I've gained a bit). I'm still going to go to the gym and lift heavy, but I'm going to seriously cut out my calories, and maybe add some cardio in there.
Why am I posting this here again?
Because first of all, eating less on a college campus is hard. I can't find anything to eat in the dining halls applicable to a healthy diet, and it only works if I really try. Second, I've somewhat tried to cut a little bit during the past couple of weeks, and its failed because of the above reason.
So here I am, posting my Day 1 post. I've cut my calories down to about 1400 (from 2400), and hopefully that should get me about a 1-2 lbs loss every week. I need to be careful I don't lose too much muscle, but I don't mind too much. As long as I'm still gaining, or staying, at my strength level, I don't have a problem.
But anyways, I realize that I need a way to stay accountable, and posting blog posts are exactly what I need. It worked for me over the summer, and hopefully it'll work again. No, it WILL work again. I have no choice now. :)
