Hm, so this feels awkward. I know I said I'd try to cut everything, but that's proving very difficult. Now I'm NOT saying I'm giving up, but I think I'm going to reevaluate a bit.
My initial concern was that when I went home for Thanksgiving Break and bought new clothes and suits, my current measurements would not last for a while so then it would just be a waste of money. But after talking with my mom and my friends a bit, it doesn't look like that's an issue.
I'd still like to lose this flab though...
So instead of going for a serious deficit, I'm gonna try Intermittent Fasting. Basically a 16/8 split (The Lean Gains IF Protocol), where I'm fasting for 16 hours, and eating during the 8 hour period. I'm thinking something like breaking my fast at 12, like usual, but that might change depending on my schedule. Honestly, I don't think its worth sacrificing my last year of college for going crazy on my diet.
I'm hoping for something of a body recomp. I need a new measuring tape so I can track the progress and see if its working well. I HATE this extra flab, but hopefully it'll naturally go away. Theoretically, I should be burning fat during the fast period, and using my carb resources during my workout.
In terms of how much food, I'm debating under, over, or at maintenance. I think I'm gonna start at maintenance, see how my strength gains are like, and then I'll go from there.
