I need a blog to collect my thoughts and keep my sanity. I thought I could manage without it, since I haven't posted in a while. But its really hard to keep track of stuff. I just have SO much going on at the same time! (although, somehow I still have nothing to do sometimes)
This is finally my final semester at RPI, and I plan to make it amazing. I don't really have a lot planned, but I'm taking things as they come, and it should be pretty exciting.
One thing is continuing my fitness goals. I managed to complete the majority of my goals by the last week. I gained a certain amount of muscle, and I lost a bit of fat over the break, however I still feel too...flabby. I really don't know what to do. It's kinda awkward 'cause I can only really do one at a time and I wish there was some sort of way to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time...
Or is there? I think I'm gonna try Intermittent Fasting. From what I hear, although it doesn't exactly let you do both at the same time, it is at least supposed to restrict the amount of fat that you gain as a result of "bulking." And if it happens to let me lose fat, then all the more power to me. I mean, its not completely out of the ordinary, is it? It's not like my body takes count of what I ate that day all at once; it's an all day process. So I feel like while I'm fasting, my body will burn fat, and when I eat (especially after a workout), my body will build muscle.
Anyway, I'm going to follow the Leangains method for now, and with my schedule, a 2-10PM schedule seems like its going to work (that means only eating between 2-10).
We'll see how this goes.
