Today was probably the easiest lift I've ever done. I followed Mr. Stronglifts advice to start at 50% of my 5RM, but honestly, that is wayyyy to light. I'm still hesitant to rack up more weights, though, because I am aware that this routine is gonna get real heavy real fast. But still, I didn't feel like I did anything today. :/
I've started to stop counting my calories as anally as I did before. I think counting calories to the T is really important when you're just starting out, or, in my case, when you're trying to get back into the fray and learning to keep track of amounts. But once you get a handle on how much you need to eat in a day, counting calories just becomes a chore. And it interferes with your daily life.
