(As you can see, I find that writing each post the day after they happen makes it so that I forget what happened the day before. Today's post is a combination of yesterday and today.)
I love how these posts always get easier after a little while. Somehow, its the magic rule of 3/4 with posts, dieting, fitness, etc, at least for me. It gets harder and harder, with the hardest day being the third day, and after the fourth day I'm flying by.
It's a good thing I decided not to start my lifting schedule until monday. These past few days have been difficult trying to deal with being hungry again, but of course I'm good now. My running schedule has also been a bit different. Forgot that since I'm basically a beginner again, I can't be running so intensely every day when I'm coupling it with lifting. T/Th/Sat will be the days. But I'm still doing fasted cardio every morning, which feels really good. I just got some new headphones (Jaybird Bluebuds X; Awesome bluetooth headphones, no more wearing ridiculously large over ears at the gym!), and I just got a Spotify subscription. I'm finding these days that I'm slowly converting everything to digital/online/cloud, because space is limited. My life currently fits into about six-seven boxes, and honestly its convenient.
Today's title is Counting Stars, because I was listening to the song by One Republic both today and yesterday. I've always liked the song since I heard it, and initially I had thought it was about wanted to be with someone (I can't hear lyrics very well in songs, I wonder why?). Listening to it recently, however, I thought that it might be talking about living to your fullest, reaching for the stars, instead of reaching for that next paycheck. Fits very well with the way my life's heading right now.
